In my knowledge there is no Industrial Relations Act in India. Of course, there was a move to rename the Industrial Disputes Act in view of the fact that in new generation India we do not have any more "disputes" but we aim to bring about "relations". Any way, the Industrial Disputes Act is meant to bring about good industrial and employee relations in establishments and in India as a whole.

Dear Yogesh,
Across India we have the Industrial Disputes Act, but in addition to it we have Bombay Industrial relations Act 1946 which is applicable to the states of Maharashrtha & Gujrat states only.
Hence if you are looking for something in these states then you have to consult Bombay IR Act 1946 also.

There Are Bombay Industrial Relations Act as well as in Madhya Pradesh there is Madhya Pradesh Industrial Relations Act which is applicable in M.P. in various Industries where 100 or more than 100 workmen are employed. Only Chapter V & VA are applicable of ID Act 1947
