Leave Policy Clarification
Whatever the nature of the leave, if an employee resumes duty on the date following their off day/holiday, they should be given that off day/holiday. As already stated, in case they remain on leave on the day following the day off/holiday, only the matter of CL (Casual Leave), PL (Privilege Leave), or LOP (Loss of Pay) will have to be checked. Under normal policies, an off day/holiday intervening two CL days will not be counted as leave, but an off day/holiday intervening two PL or LOP days will be counted as PL or LOP, as the case may be.
