What Salary Components Should a Startup HR Executive Consider for Employees?

I am Raja, working as an HR Executive in a software company. This company is a startup. Could anyone please let me know the salary components for employees in the organization?

Hi Raju,

The components of salary are:

- Basic (which should ideally be 45-50% of CTC)
- HRA (50% for capital & metros, 40% for other places)
- Medical Reimbursement (Rs. 15,000 p.a. as a fixed amount)
- LTA (fixed as the Basic amount p.a.)
- Personal allowance (remaining amount of CTC after deducting all other components)
- PF (12% company's contribution)
