LWF Payment Obligations
1) LWF has to be paid for all employees who have worked for at least 30 days in the calendar year, irrespective of whether they are dismissed, discharged, or have resigned from service.
2) The employer is authorized to deduct employee contributions from their salary.
3) If the employer, through inadvertence or otherwise, has not deducted, it can be made from the wages of such an employee for any subsequent month with permission in writing from the appointed inspector.
4) Deductions from wages, as enshrined in the "Payment of Wages Act," have to be made.
