1) LWF has to be paid for all the employees who have worked for at least 30 days in the calendar year, irrespective of whether he is dismissed, discharged, or has resigned from service.
2) The employer is authorized to deduct the employee contributions from his salary.
3) If the employer, through inadvertence or otherwise, had not deducted, it can be made from the wages of such an employee for any subsequent month with the permission in writing to the inspector appointed.
4) Deduction from wages, as enshrined in the "Payment of Wages Act," has to be made.
