I'm new to this website, its really helpful in increasing one's knowledge. Well ,my query is about campus recruitment. Iam new to this vertical of HR called "campus recruitment", can anyone tell me on what all grounds i need work on before going for it???

This is rajesh kumar from HYD i am working as IT recruiter in HYD.
Compus recruitement means the companies are going to the colleges ot institutions for recruiting the people.in this organisation are getting fresh blood and opening for challenges
before this process small ground work is there
first decide what are the skill set you want and contact with institutions or colleges heads or placement officers.
you discuses exctly what are the skills and qualities of Candidates with the placement officers or Heads of institutions.
and inform to them what is your recruitement strategies and process (like conducting Exams or interview rounds and group discussions etc
if the management accept your proposal then start your recruitement process, you start your hiring process according job requirement.

Hi Deepmala,
what my other colleagues has said is right but i can too explain you the the same thing but in the other way, since i am working for a Manufacturing company......
The Process is:-
1) First list out the candidates you want......
2) Also list out the activities / projects they have to carry out......
3) Then contact the institutes or colleges regarding the number of
students available for the interview......
4) Then after the the pool of candidates available then fix up the time and
date with the college / institutes...........
5) Then prepare the tests and also some onterview rating sheets (if any
interview is to be taken place)....
6) Conduct the aptitude tests / interview at the respective colleges.......
7) Evaluate them at that time or later.....
8) then which ever candidate is founf=d suitable then you select them......
I hope i have cleared your doubts on "Campus Interviews"......
