Hello everyone, I am working on a training needs analysis and training effectiveness project at a reputed organization for my summer internship. I need some guidance regarding framing a training effectiveness questionnaire.
This is Balaji. I am also currently working with my Summer Interns at L&T. My project topic is "Effectiveness of Competency-based Training." I have prepared a questionnaire, but my HR rejected it, stating that it doesn't contain competency-based questions. Instead, it is for assessing general training. Therefore, I believe that my rejected questionnaire should be reviewed by your HR.
Training effectiveness is always linked to training needs. Google the Kirkpatrick Model for more information. A summary is provided below:
1. Level 1 Effectiveness - Regular feedback is used to assess participant satisfaction, benefits gained, facilitator performance, and venue suitability.
2. Level 2 - Conduct pretests before training and post-tests after training.
3. Level 3 - Focus on behavior change.
4. Level 4 - Measure business results.
