Dis is Balaji.A, I am also up wit ma Summer Interns in L&T.. Ma project topic is "Effectiveness of Competency based Training" . I have prepared a questionnaire, but ma HR rejected it sayin that it doesn contain competency based questions, it's for assessing the general training, so I am sure ma rejected questionnaire shd be selected by ur HR..

Traning effectiveness is always linked to Training needs.
Google for Kirk Patrick Model. A summary is given below.
Level 1 effectiveness - The regular feedback from that we use to know if the participants are happy with the training, did they benefit, was the facilitator good, venue blah blah blah
Level 2 - You do a pretest before the training and do a post test after the training
Level 3 - Behaviour change
Level 4 - Business results
