As far as Haryana State is concerned, The Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishment Act, 1958 is applicable, and now online registration is available. In case of any difficulty, you can visit the office of the area Labour Inspector, who also work as Shops Inspector under the Shops Act.

We have to register our organization under the Shops & Establishments Act. Kindly suggest to me which documents have to be deposited to the labor department and which documents have to be maintained.

For Karnataka Shops & Commercial establishments, the following documents are required:

- Address proof of the company
- Address proof of Director/Proprietor
- Company and Director PAN Card
- Electricity/Telephone bill

Below mentioned are the requirements to obtain the license under the Shops and Commercial Establishment Act:

1. List of Directors and their address proof.
2. PAN/TIN Number of the respective business unit.
3. Bills pertaining to power and telephone.
4. Memorandum of Association or Memorandum of Meetings.
