Details About Minimum Wages

Hi All,
Can body tell me the difference between skilled, semi skilled & unskilled labour.Is there any notification about this which have these details
ITI pass out students from CTS scheme are under which category.
Also give the notification/guideline regarding the breakup of minimum wages.Is mobile & conveyance reimbursement part of minimum wages

Dear Amit,
ITI pass out students from CTS scheme are under Skilled Labour. You can have the notification from labour commission office on request. The minimum wages differs from state to state. Its applicability depends upon Minimum Wages and Shops & Estab, which ever is higher. Minimum wage is basic+DA. No mobile & conveyance reimbursement is not a part of minimum wages.

ITI persons will be cover under Skilled Labours. Minimum wages breakup will be change from zone to zone in a city like city, Panchayath. Better you check with your area's Minimum Wages Act Book.
