How Do I Forecast Manpower for a New Social Networking Site Launch Without Trend Analysis?

Dear All, I need help with manpower forecasting in our organization. Our company is launching a social networking site, and I am assigned to do the forecasting for a year. However, I have no clue how to go about it as I cannot use trend or ratio analysis for this. So, which method should I adopt for this?
