Maternity Benefit Policy [Thread 248374]

Hi All,
I would like to know if there has been any change in the Maternity Benefit act, 1961. If the period of 3 months has been incrased to 6 months as proposed in the parliament in 2008.
If the amendment has taken plac, kindly send me a copy of the amendment and the policy.

So far no amendment have taken place in the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
