Confused About Minimum Wages in Delhi for News Agencies? Let's Clarify Together

aparna.s
Dear All, I have a confusion regarding minimum wages in Delhi. Could you please clarify this for me?

Categories for Minimum Wages

There are two categories for minimum wages:
1. (a) Unskilled
(b) Semi-skilled
(c) Skilled

2. (a) Non-matriculates
(b) Matriculate but not graduate
(c) Graduate and above

Which category is applicable in a news agency? Is it that category 1 is applicable to the Technology division and category 2 is applicable to the rest of the divisions (including Peons, cleaners, etc.)? This is mentioned at the top of category 2 in the notification of the latest minimum wages as "Clerical and Non-Technical Supervisory Staff."

I am looking forward to your valued advice.

Thanks and regards,
APARNA

In case you are not able to find your industry type in the minimum wages employment schedule, it's safe to take the maximum of the minimum wages in the category.
