Attendance Register - Attendance Software - XLS Download

If we are maintaining attendance on a software, is it compulsory to maintain a manual attendance register too? Please advise.

Hi Jaishree,

1. A manual attendance register can be maintained as a backup document in case the attendance software creates any problems.
2. For HR audit purposes, the attendance report from the software can be pulled and submitted.
3. The manual register can be maintained by the HR department only.
