Can My Company Deduct Salary for Sundays If I Miss a Week Due to Personal Issues?

If a person worked up to Saturday and Sunday is a holiday, and he does not come on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in the next week due to some problem, can the company deduct his salary for both Sundays and one Sunday? Please suggest at the earliest.

His salary for the previous Sunday will not be deducted as he has worked till Saturday. Only if he had taken a day off on Saturday and Monday, then his salary would have been deducted.

If any person took leave on both the previous and the following day of the weekly off or paid holiday, salary can be deducted for that day, or he may apply for leave for that day.

Your question seems to be incomplete as you have not stated whether the person is a contract employee/labor or a regular employee. The position will be different in both cases. If he is a regular employee, he can take leave including both the preceding and following Sundays. In the case of a contract employee/labor, you can only deduct the salary for the last Sunday and not for the earlier Sunday if he has worked for six days prior to that Sunday.
