Roles And Responsibilities Of Operation Manager In IT Domain

Dear All
Please let me know the roles and responsibilities of operaion manager in IT domain. Is he or she responsible for the entire operation, My organization is small eou company, where we are having 4 developer and 3 designer with 1 BA and 1 accounting guy.
we are recruiting the person to handle the office entire responsibility just below to ceo... please let me know what are the responsibility and quality the person should own
