I had completed 9 yeras in my previous company, now i am resigning from that co. from last 2 months.
In my previous co. my pf was deducted from last 1 year only i.e. from 2009 out of 9 years service.
may i claim for gratuity? pls advice me

Yes, you can claim gratuity for 9 years of continuous service.
The below mentiond formula will apply:
Gratuity = Basic*15*No. of years served (9 in your case)/26

Yes, Gratuity is paid to an employee who has completed 5 years of continuos service with the employer. Hence you are eligible to get gratuity.

If your company is covered under the P G Act, 1972 & you have sufficient proof regarding your continuous working with this company as per section 2A of this Act then you should claim gratuity from your employer.

There is no connection between PF and Grauity. You have completed your 09 year of service you can claim.

That employee have to complete 4.8 Months of service, only then will be entitled for gratuity.

You are very much eligible for the gratuity. As per the Gratuity act who wiill finish the 5 years continious service in 1 company all they are eligible for the Gratuity benifit.

Eligibility for Gratuity: An employee who continuously deducts his PF from the first month of joining the organisation, and who have completed 4 yrs and 240 working days of minimum service is eligible for Gratuity.
