Dear seniors,

I will give one example. Please calculate manpower utilization in %.

Category I work Mandays in the month for 31 days 286 mandays.

Category II work Mandays in the month for 27 days (without Sundays) 486 mandays.

In category I, per day 10 manpower are supposed to deploy for 31 full days. In category II, per day 20 manpower are supposed to deploy for 27 days (Sundays not working).

I request to calculate manpower utilization in %. The result may be in Excel sheets.

How to calculate 1 Employee Mandays in a Month

To calculate 1 employee manday in a month, you can use the following formula:

Total number of working days in the month / Number of employees = Employee mandays per employee

For example, if there are 20 working days in a month and you have 5 employees, the calculation would be:

20 / 5 = 4 mandays per employee in a month

This formula can help you determine the average number of mandays worked by each employee in a given month.

To calculate the total man-days for any employee or worker in a month, we need to consider the total number of days they were present in that month.

To calculate absenteeism mandays in a month, you can use the following formula:

Number of Absent Employees X Number of Working Days in the Month = Total Absenteeism Mandays

For example, if you have 5 absent employees and there are 20 working days in the month, the total absenteeism mandays would be 100 (5 employees X 20 days = 100 mandays). This calculation can help you track and analyze absenteeism trends within your organization on a monthly basis.
