1) Listen to English news or english movie. Please dont watch it, just listen for 15 minutes
2) Read aloud any story book with a lot of intonation.
3) Speak in English, dont worry about making mistakes.
do this for 3 months without fail and you will be able to speak good english. remember there is difference between fluency and good communication

i really dont think so that reading newspaper is at all beneficial or may be the way i m reading wrong...

Please do not depend on self study. Find a good teacher who can teach you the correct pronounciation ( a native english peaker if possible!!) .

All you have to do is to think in English. To simplify it better, our mind thinks non stop so if we start thinking in English (usually we think in our mother tongue) we can improve our language. Secondly, communicate in English as much as you can.
