Exemption From Profession Tax Karnataka

Dear All,
We have one handicap employee at our Bangalore Office. I would like to know whether handicap employee is exempted from paying Profession Tax through salary or not.

0-9999 --- NO PT (Exempted)
10000- 14999 --- 150
15000 & Above ---200

Dear One,
Yes, handicapped employee is exempted from PTax payment... on the condition that, he / she have the medical certificate from the authorized hospital the he /she is handicapped more than 60%

Physically Handicapped are exempted from Paying he PT, But PH Employee should have a certificate from Govt Health Dept stating his disability.
