Payment Of Contribution In Case Of Labour Welfare Fund In Haryana

Please advise the dates of payment of fund amount with Govt of Haryana.

Dear
We are to deposit the Labour Welfare Fund Contribution with the Welfare Commissioner, Haryana up to 31st December every year. This means that contribution is to be deposited for the months from December to November. Moreover by the amendment notification dated 04.04.2009 this Act now gives one month grace period resulting thereby we can deposit this contribution of both the employer & employees upto 31st January (notification shows one month from the specified date i.e. 31st Dec.& therefore I am considering this as one calender month. This may be 30 days as it is not clear).

Kindly advise as one inspector has asked to deposit contributions now up to June 09 with 12% interest and rest as such.

We are depositing LWF every quarter to Labour Welfare Commissioner (Haryana) at Chandigarh.
Has the rules been revised to deposit it annually? Please clarify as we have been doing so as per the instructions of our Consultant.

Dear Saurabh,
It is hereby made clear that in the begining the State Labour Inspectors/ L I (Welfare) have issued instructions to the LWF Act Coverable units to deposit this contribution amount quarterly to implement this new amendment on the verbal or written instructions of the seniors or the Head Office but later on due to non availability of any provisions in the Act itself they are now not giving in writing but at present some of the Inspectors verbally giving directions to the managements & due this mgt. like you are still complying those instructions.
