According to the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965, section 1(3)(b) applies to every establishment in which 20 or more persons are employed on any day during an accounting year, and thus, BPOs are also covered under this Act.
Could you please let me know how this bonus is applicable? Is this even applicable for contract employees? Also, could you please tell me on what basis the bonus will be calculated? As of now, I have not received any bonus payment from my company.
