Dear Members,
Kindly give your suggestions on the abandonment of service when an employee stops reporting for work. Absenteeism letters are sent to the employee, and five reminders are sent every week asking them to report for duty. The final letter should state that, "As you have still not reported for duty despite our several reminders, it is presumed that you have abandoned your service with us voluntarily. Accordingly, your name is struck off from our muster roll."
Is this the correct approach, or how should we frame the letter?
