Need a Soft Copy of Form 2 Under the Factory Act 1948 – Can Anyone Help?

Form 2 is not provided under The Factories Act, 1948. This format is provided under the State Factories Rules, and Factories Rules may differ from state to state. Therefore, first, tell the members the name of the appropriate Govt. under which your unity falls. Most of the States' Labour Department sites also provide such formats. You may go through the relevant site if you are interested in having a soft copy of this format. This format is also available at city book sellers who have the registers of the Factories Act.

Dear all,

It's right to say, as stated by Advocate R.N. Khola Ji, that a soft copy of Form No. 2 is not provided online under The Factory Act, 1948. However, I have typed the same in MS Word format and am sharing it with all of you. If there are any differences based on states, it applies only to Haryana.

Dear Anand, You are to apply for an amendment in the license as per the requirement of Rule 9 of the Punjab Factories Rules, 1950. The fee for the amendment is Rs. 30/-. You should apply within 30 days of such a change. The occupier desirous of having an amended license shall apply to the ACIF, NCR, Gurgaon (Haryana) with an application stating the nature of the amendment and the reasons thereof. To be on the safer side, we should also submit an application in triplicate for 2 (amended) along with the original factory license and documentary proof of the nature of the change, i.e., resolution, etc.
