In a company for conducting any business under the Factories Act, an industrial license is required. If the company intends to engage in any other business, does it need an additional industrial license, or can it be added to the existing industrial license? If a new license is needed, what is the procedure, and which documents need to be submitted for this purpose?

There is a main plant ABC at 37P where we manufacture an article. It has another plant in Haridwar.

We require an industrial license for manufacturing any article that falls under compulsory licensing. Shall we require another industrial license if:

1. The company is registered under industrial licensing for manufacturing article A as an SSI, micro, or Medium Scale or Large Scale Industrial Undertaking. If the company wants to venture into another business, such as manufacturing article B, would it need a fresh industrial license?

2. If the company plans to relocate 50% of its plant and machinery to the plant in Haridwar without additional investment, does the company require another industrial license?

3. If the company intends to establish a new plant in Haridwar and engage in the same business, does it need a separate license if the company is already registered under industrial licensing for manufacturing article A as an SSI, micro, or Medium Scale or Large Scale Industrial Undertaking?

If a fresh industrial license is required, what is the procedure for obtaining it and which documents need to be submitted?
