Could you please help me by providing the official formalities that need to be complied with for the resignation of a Director from a private limited company? Also, kindly send me a resignation letter format. How should his settlement be handled until the date of tendering his resignation?

You would need to file Form 32 with the concerned Registrar of Companies within 30 days of the resignation. Further, the settlement of dues would be done as per the terms of his appointment or if his was a contractual employment, as per the agreement or contract.
