Is Registering a New 3-Star Hotel Under the Catering Establishments Act Necessary? How Do I Do It?

Please tell me, is it required for a newly started 3-star hotel to register it in the Catering Establishments Act? If so, how? Expecting your immediate help.

Dear T. PRABHAKAR,

We have heard of the Shops & Commercial Establishment Act. This is a State Act. If your hotel is situated in a State where this Act is applicable, then you are to get your hotel registered under this Act.
