Dear Shri Malik,

For quite some time, I have been following your thoughtful comments on various labor law issues. I wish to talk to you on the phone if it is convenient for you. Could you please provide your landline or mobile phone number? I am a Senior Citizen and an Advocate based in Karnal (Haryana), mostly providing consultancy in Civil Laws, including Labor Laws. Perhaps we could be helpful to each other in some way.

With regards,

Dear Mr. Mallik,

There are 12 Acts that need to be complied with regarding HR issues. Could you please help me with them, such as what forms/formats have to be maintained and who is the concerned authority for the compliance?

Hi Ravindra,

Thank you for your message. It's essential to maintain records nationwide, including for pan-India operations. We can assist you in determining who is eligible for the Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) and from whose salary the LWF deductions should be made.

Please note that LWF is applicable in Goa as well, where deductions should be made on a monthly basis and remitted semi-annually. The contribution rates are 5/- for the employee and 10/- for the employer.

Regards,
Ravindra

Dear Mr. Malik,

Thanks for your knowledge sharing. While going through the sheet attached, for Haryana, contributions are being sent quarterly to the Commissioner in Chandigarh, although the deductions are made monthly, which is correct.

Best regards,

Malik Sir,

It is great for us to know about the welfare funds of various states. Also, it would be very supportive if you could provide the same for the state of Uttarakhand.

Thanks,

Dear Parbhu,

As per information gathered from the citehr, your State is in the list of states where Labour Welfare Fund Contribution is not deducted from employees' wages. This subject matter is not in operation in your State. Moreover, you may also inquire about it from your nearest labor office in your city.
