Labour License - Labour Licence [Thread 178784]

Dear All, Can u suggest me what is the porcedure for labour license. as we are service provider in Enviorment Engg. and we have more then 100 manpower in Haryana in different sites but not in a particular site, but now we have more then 20 manpower in a particular site, now my question is should we apply labour license for 100 manpower or for 20. waiting for your valuable suggestion. Dear Sunil if u r having projects in different states,u require to get licence from respective state labour authority, because act rules r differ from one state to another. mahesh

Dear Sunil, You are to apply for grant of contract labour licence under the Contract Labour (R&A) Act,1970 & The Haryana C L (R&A) Rules,1975 for the specific site which is having 20 or more contract labour employed therein.
