Under which enactment are you requiring these registers? Book-sellers in your city must have these registers. These registers appear to be related to the Factories Act, 1948, and the State Labour Welfare Fund Act.

Dear Hema,

This adult register is required to be maintained as per the provisions of the Factories Act and the rules made thereunder. We are to maintain this register in respect of the persons/employees as defined under Section 2(l) of the Factories Act, 1948.
