It is really a very good job, Alphonse.

When they are releasing the 2009-10 budget, they need to release the details of the utilization of last year's allotted money with proof. Proper accounts audit has to happen on the release of the money for the particular work; then there will be some value for planning the future year's budget plan.

It's not very good news; however, it depends on perception as well. People earning less than 10 Lacs have absolutely no benefit (merely around 1 K). People earning 10 Lacs and above have a little relief, at least 21K, and will be higher as the taxable income increases.

FBT getting out will help employees where it was recovered from employees by employers (not a good practice).
