Dear Vassu,
Gratuity calculation is one & the same in all cases. No gratuity is payable on less than one year of continuous service in case of death to the nominee or legal heirs of the employee. According to the PG Act,1972 one will notice that we fill up or received nomination form from the employee on completion of one year of service.
