Maternity leave is granted to a woman employee if eligible and is not calculated under the Maternity Benefit Act of 1961. A woman employee becomes entitled to maternity benefits under certain conditions as per the ESI Act of 1948 or the Maternity Benefit Act of 1961, as the case may be.
The Maternity Act does not provide any special provision for BPOs. As usual, this is to be paid as in cases of other leaves. The period of leaves is already given in the above post.
