How Do I Set Fair Wages for Trainee Workers in Maharashtra's Fabrication Industry?

We have a small fabrication facility in Palghar near Mumbai where we employ casual workers. Now we intend to absorb some of the workers onto our payroll. I am thinking of taking them on as trainees (e.g., Trainee Welder, Trainee Fitter, etc.). Now, while deciding their wages, do I have to follow the minimum wage rate? Can you tell me what the minimum wage rate is currently prevalent in Maharashtra for semi-skilled/skilled workers?

Now on paycheck.in, the minimum wages are divided into Zones. How are these zones defined? I could not find any details of the zones on the website. Can you please help?

Can anyone tell me what the payable amount should be to the unskilled worker if any day's work was not done due to some reason, however, food and accommodation are provided by the contractor?
