Laws Related To IT Companies In India

Dear all,
Being a very interactive forum, I would like to have info on various laws related to IT companies.
Most of the laws in our country are meant for manufacturing setup. IT being new and also has a lot of FDI, which are the various laws that are applicable to an organisation.

Hi Smita and Abirami,
As regards employment law except for factories act all other labour legislations are applicable.
As regards termination notice period, leave etc are concerned, the IT industries will be governed by the Local (state) Shops and Establishment Act, unless specifficaly exempted from certain provisions of the Act by state government).
