Respected All,

Please provide me with the format of a wage slip under the Minimum Wages Act of 1948 in Uttar Pradesh. Kindly guide me on whether a wage slip is necessary to give to workers. Additionally, please advise if the wage slip should be in Form 10 or Form 11.

Dear,

As per the U.P. Minimum Wages Rules, 1952, it is Form X. You can refer to the said act for the format of the wage slip. According to the act, a wage slip should be provided to all workers.

Thanks,

Dear Shekhar,

It is hereby clarified that if your unit is covered under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, then you are liable to issue wage slips to the employees a day prior to the disbursement of wages. If you do not have the Rules of MW Act, 1948, then approach the bookseller who has records & registers of Factories / shops for the format of wage slips. I am sure these booksellers must have these slips.
