Pending Salary Can Any Legal Steps Be Taken

I am working in an IT concern and my salary is being pending for the last 6 months and now they have decided to lay off all the employees and now the management has decided to send off all the employees without any payment. Is there any legal action cab be taken against the company...

yes,you can take legal action,but why u were waiting from last 6 months.please file a case under payment of wages act 1936 sect 15 (3) for delayed payment.
this will be filed with labour dept and there is also provision for 10 times penality.
