Hi Joan,

The best universities in India would be IGNOU or ICFAI University. You can visit their websites to get more information.

Hi Joan,

Lots of institutes are offering MBA, but only a few are given due weightage by the industry. Some of the names are IGNOU, Symbiosis, and ICFAI. You may visit the respective sites to know more. Also, please understand that you need to be working to get admission to the above institutes.

Gautam

Hi Joan,

These days, most institutes offer correspondence/distance learning courses. Institutes like IGNOU, Symbiosis, ICFAI, AIMA offer correspondence courses. The fees might be around Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 30,000 for the entire course apart from the exam fees. Generally, admissions start by March/April.

But my sincere suggestion to you would be to consider opting for evening classes where there is some form of class interaction instead of choosing correspondence. A correspondence course may not add much value. It is very important that you have classroom sessions where there are lots of guest lectures happening and various ideas flowing through interactions between students.

Hi Joan,

Regarding your query about distance learning courses, you can check out this site: http://www.indianmba.com/Distance_Ed...ducation1.html. Apart from this, you can also consider IMT Ghaziabad for Distance Learning MBA because they offer classes every weekend. You can check out the center near your place. One more suggestion: if you plan to pursue a part-time or correspondence MBA, always consider taking up a job.

All the best.

I am working as an HR Head in a renowned hospital in Kolkata, India. I have to do an MBA with a specialization in HRM as soon as possible, either part-time or correspondence. Please suggest where I can do it. I've already completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Health & Hospital Management.

I will wait for your valuable suggestions. Thanks, Reema.

Dear all,

I am a graduate in Arts with 44.88%. I would like to pursue an MBA through correspondence or distance learning and do not prefer a pretest. Could you please recommend the best institute for this? Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the mailing address and fee structure.

Thank you,
Manish

Hi,

I have completed my MCA through regular studies over the last three years. I have gained diverse work experience during this time. One role I had was as a Sales Research Analyst, where I worked on international leads in a US-based company. Currently, I am working in an Indian company in a position where I provide assistance as a bridge between clients, the sales team, and the product development team. My responsibilities include managing and resolving all their issues. This role does not involve software coding or testing; it is essentially a semi-technical profile.

I have recently enrolled in a 3-year correspondence MBA program at Amity University, Noida. I am seeking guidance on how my current education and work experience align and what opportunities may be available to me in the future. I am particularly interested in knowing if obtaining an MBA degree, after three years, will help me advance my career in the areas of Business Management, sales, marketing, or managerial roles.

Friends, please guide me.

Regards,
Vikas
