Transferred to HR Without a Degree: How Can I Start Learning and Contributing?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I do not have an HR degree, but my company has recently transferred me to the HR department, and now I am required to assist our HR Manager. I am interested in pursuing a professional course in HR.

Can you please help?

Riky

Hi Santhosh Jacob,

You can ask your company to sponsor an MBA with HR specialization at some reputed institutions. I suggest seeking sponsorship from the company since they recently transferred you to this department. Additionally, you may consider completing courses such as a PG Diploma in Human Resource Management. I recommend researching online to identify well-regarded and highly ranked institutes.

Hi,

I feel nothing is better than a full-time MBA program, but in your case, it may not be possible, so I'll suggest going for a part-time MBA course or joining an Executive MBA from a good institute in your city. Distance learning courses, no matter how good they sound, will not add much value to your career or your resume. So, try to attend an executive course. All the best for whatever you choose to do.

Cheers,

Hi Riky,

You have got a good break. I would advise you to go for a PGDHRM through Symbiosis distance learning. Two years down the lane, this experience and certification definitely would add value to your resume.
