Dear HR Members,
As quoted by Ms. Gayathri S, ascertaining the name of an HR Guru is a bit tough. However, individuals like Mr. TV Rao, Prof. C K Prahlad, Dr. Rajesh Khurana, Mr. Pai of Infosys, and many more are prominent in the field. In Telugu Music, the great singer Thyagaraja Swamy aptly stated, "Many great men, our deep respects to all." There is no definitive measuring yardstick in any field as it is a continuous flow. Some excel in theory, while others excel in practice, particularly in people management skills. Regardless, the HR function holds prime importance. For instance, in an organization, having great technology but lacking good human resources renders the technology useless. I firmly believe that a company can achieve success even without cutting-edge technology, solely with excellent personnel, i.e., human resources. In this context, networking is primarily facilitated by the HR guru or leader of the HR team.
I hope this clarifies my perspective.
Warm regards,
Narayana Murty BV Senior Manager-HRD Karvy Group of Cos. Hyderabad Cell No: 9177401081 :-D
