Dear all,
We would like to inform you that the Labour Department in Haryana, vide their letter No. 10664-774 dated 31.03.2009, has intimated the field functionaries about an increase of 76 points in the Consumer Price Index, resulting in an increase of Rs. 175.56 in the existing minimum rates of wages effective from January 2009. Therefore, the minimum rates of wages in different categories in all scheduled employments in Haryana are as follows:
S.No. Categories of Workers Minimum rates of Wages P.M. Minimum rates of wages per day
1. Unskilled Rs. 3840.10/- Rs. 147.69/-
2. Semi-Skilled-A Rs. 3970.10/- Rs. 152.69/-
3. Semi-Skilled-B Rs. 4100.10/- Rs. 157.69/-
4. Skilled-A Rs. 4230.10/- Rs. 162.69/-
5. Skilled-B Rs. 4360.10/- Rs. 167.69/-
6. High Skilled Rs. 4490.10/- Rs. 172.69/-
P.S. The Haryana Labour Department, in the letter above, has mentioned 01 p in all categories against the minimum wages P.M. column when it should be 10p. Therefore, we have already corrected this amount after considering the increase of Rs. 175.56.
