HR Presentation To The Top Management

Hi,
I am required to do a presentation to the board on how HR could really value add to the organization especially with the upcoming ecnomic downturn. There is no proper agenda given and i am still cracking hard how to deliever a good presentation. Anyone can help?>

U can prepare agenda for the topic given to u.
in presentation u can include Agenda of the presentation which makes clear what u r going to deliever ,second is the core part of presentation & lastly u can conclude ur sessions with some facts & figures showing the importance of HR.

what to present then? Maybe thinking Human Capital Plan, Get,Keep,Grow and how the downturn impact HR and company. still cracking my head to think the flow and structure of slide.

HR is dept which includes everthing for exmple: PMS,Employee engagement,Recruitment,organisational development,these all departments add value to organisation.make a presentation on these thing u can show them the attriton of the organisation ur stratgies in controlling them and let them know abt the benefits.show the how effective is ur recruitment system.

Whenever there is economic turndown, not only the countries are affected but also the companies due to fixed costs. HR role becomes very important. HR can work on improving effeciency of the employees, improving productivity of the organization and thus making it competitive to meet the challenges. This can be done through developing more efficient culture and intensive future focused trainings.

This economic turnaround which we are experiencing presently is not some thing which is common, try to present to your management as to how this would impact the motivation levels of employees, try and communicate to the employees about the present status of economic crisis.
