Dear K. Sambasivam,

In your presentation, I did not see the following:

a) Delegation skills - A supervisor is no longer just a worker; they have to ensure work is completed by others.

b) Different types of Attitudes of workers - He should be prepared to handle difficult people.

c) Today's supervisor is tomorrow's manager. He should be prepared for this advancement.

d) Listening skills

Ok...

Hi, good material here. Supervisory or management skills are a big topic and cannot all be covered in one session. It needs more than one.

My only other comment is that most of your slides have far too many words on them. The PowerPoint (PPT) should only have the main points as a guide for the discussion. I find many PPTs on Cite are way too wordy. Trainees spend too much time reading and not enough time discussing and learning. I do not use PPTs in my training sessions.

Hi everybody,

Thanks for your valuable feedback. I will incorporate all your suggestions.

Hello

kanchan_69, this is in MS Office PPT 2003. If you have this version, you may not have difficulty opening the PPT.

namrata.jashnani, I don't have the management games you had asked for. I will contact my friends who may have them and try to post them soon in this forum.

rjsu10, I had sent the PPT to your email ID.

Thank you all again.

I would like to know how you will conduct the supervisory training program without using PowerPoint. Please don't misunderstand me; I mean to ask what tools you will be using in your training sessions.
