Seeking Experienced Behavior-Based Safety Trainers with Industrial Psychology Background in India

Hi Everybody,

I am looking for some well-experienced behavior-based safety (BBS) trainers, who have industrial psychology background or industrial safety background with enough exposure in the BBS area. Preferred locations are Delhi, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, or Mumbai. Industry experience will be highly desirable.

My name is K.N. Sharma, and I hold an M.Phil in Organizational and Industrial Psychology, with 20 years of experience in assessing employee behavior, counseling, and training. Regardless of the advancements in machinery or technology, the user always remains human. The mental state, personality, mindset, and level of motivation while working are crucial. Therefore, when discussing BBS (Behavior-Based Safety), our training should focus on the human element rather than just the machine. This approach will undoubtedly minimize the rate of accidents. A comprehensive training program should encompass both machine operation and behavioral aspects. There are many simple behavioral techniques available to develop a robust BBS program.

BBS Program at Bhilai Steel Plants

The BBS program is a critical initiative implemented by the safety department of Bhilai Steel Plants. Both conducting a preliminary survey and studying the organizational culture are essential steps when formulating the best BBS strategy.
