Need Help Finding a Rental Playground in Central Mumbai for Our Corporate Cricket Tournament

Dear All,

We are planning to arrange a corporate cricket tournament for which our region's selection (Mumbai Region) will be done on 27th September 2008. Can anyone help me find some playgrounds available on a rental basis for 4 hours? The preferred location would be Central Mumbai (convenient for people residing on the Western as well as Central line).

Sorry, I saw this posting too late. We too are organizing a similar event at Andheri East - HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL GROUND. Do share your experience and let me know where you arranged this tournament of yours.

We finally arranged the selection tournament at Azad Maidan in Fort. The event was great. It was fun for all.

Will you guys be playing with a tennis ball or a leather ball?

Hi,

I have organized a few cricket tournaments for my company. Holy Family School in Andheri (E) is a great venue for both leather and tennis ball matches. The ground is in good shape with a good grass cover, and the pitch is well rolled. There is a decent stand for the audience, and commentators can be arranged upon request. It's centrally located and very well-connected, making commuting easy.
