Dear kanchumarthi,
Why donot you go through the C L Act,1970 & your State Rules your self for maintaining the relevant records. Plz do try at your own.

Hi Satya,
If your company wants to engage the Contract labour you shoud get the certificate from the Local Labour Officer and you need to give FORM-5 to the sub contractor who is going to take the work from your orgnisation, based on that only he will get registration and supply the man power, but before that u need to check with the contractor wheather he is having the PF, ESI, Ptax and other acts got registred or not, If not You need to issit to get the registration for statute.
Otherwise entire respociblity comes on the Principel Employer only.If he is not paying the contributions to the Govt.,
