I need some help from you, is anybody can provide a latest copy of notifications of minimum wages act applicable for the state of maharashtra.
Also please clarify; is minimum wages act applicable for contractors employee.

Thanks alot for providing the details, I will be also thanfull to you, if you could clarify me, whether the details are for 26 days or for 30 days and the act is applicable to contractor's employee or not.

i think it is for 26 days.. i have calculated it many a times. it turns out to be for 26 days

Hi all,
The basic and dearness All. is changed, do anybody have latest structure.
I was told that -
For Unskilled labor- 3100+823+5% HRA
For Semi Skilled - 3200+823+5% HRA and
For Skilled- 3300+823+5% HRA
is the current rate for Hospitality Industry, Zone I, in maharashtra state.
Is it true?

Hi Rutuja,
Attached is the Sp. allowance under MWA - Maharashtra for July 09 to Dec 09. You can add this in the basic wages to arrive the MW applicable to your industry.
