Dear Amit,

First, let's define the positions:

- VP
- GM
- DGM
- Sr. Mgr
- Mgr

Similarly, provide codes for these positions. Then, you can classify them department-wise. For example, VP as E5, GM as E4, DGM as E3, and so on. If it is within the Marketing department, you can define it as M E5.

Thanks & Regards,
A Renu

I think you got the explanation. You can classify the company codes into the divisions of the departments.

Dear Amit,

According to me, one can classify the codes as following:

UG - VP / President / CEO / MD
E0 - General Manager
E1 - Dy. General Manager / Asst. General Manager
E2 - Divisional Manager / Regional Manager
E3 - Manager / Dy. Manager
E4 - Asst. Manager
E5 - Executive
E6 - Software Developer / Software Engineer
E7 - Engineer

You can also use the above designations but you can start from Engineer being in E0 and the General Manager at E7 (depending on your requirement).

Ankit
