I was on an interviewing panel recently, and the youngest member spent so much time proving he was smarter than every candidate. He wasted his energy making them look and feel inadequate and stupid. The result was the candidates left disheartened and confused.

At the debrief, I brought up the negative and arrogant attitude of the panel member. Still, I was informed that as he was a citizen of the country and we were mere expatriates, he had a right to behave as he did!

Can anybody focus on ratings criteria with weightage for assessing candidates in interviews? Format or formula.
