In Haryana State revision or re-fixation of minimum rates of wages is done mostly in a period of five years. Minimum rates of wages are being increased six monthly due to increase in consumer price index numbers.We have not yet received the CPI Numbers for period from Jul to Dec,09 so far.Wait up to the end of Feb,10 for these numbers. Under which of the Act you are requiring these minimum holidays?

In general Consumer Price Index numbers are declared by the Competent authority, Haryana under The Minimum Wages Act in the end of February or in the first week of March. So wait for some time. We will supply the information in time for our members at Law & Legal Issues forum.
