Designing an Induction Program: What Training Works Best for Different Job Levels?

Jhuma Tiwade
Hi Friends, :)

I am a new joiner at a company. I have just joined a new company and have been given the task of designing the induction program. I want to have some tips on what types of training can be provided to new joiners at various levels like junior (receptionists, clerks, etc.), middle (executives), and senior levels (managers and VPs) apart from the orientation session.

Thanks,
Jhuma

At whatever levels the induction is given, just be sure of some generic aspects which should be covered:

1) About the Company (History, Present & Future prospects)
2) Benefits for Employees provided by the company
3) An out-of-the-box view... consider incorporating a game that encourages employees to mingle.

Hi,

You can brief the new employee on the following:
1) Mission and vision of the company.
2) Company policies (administrative and HR).
3) Employee benefits.
4) Introductions to various departments and department heads.
5) Brief overview of product range, processes, and competitors.
6) Departmental structure.

Hi Jhuma,

I am attaching a PPT. It's basically used for orientation. If you want and if you like it, you can make your induction or orientation like this.

Thanks and Regards,
Wricha

Just a thought! Make your own presentation. You can select some good elements from presentations and create something unique yourself. Something that motivates you in life!
