Cheer up Bharathi!!!
No need for any sorry feeling Bharathi. Actually the title Workmen Compensation Act, 1923 was enacted in Parliament (08 of 1923), But it came into effect from 01 July 1924.
Then under the provisions made in Section 32 of WC Act, 1923, the Workmen Compensation Rules, 1924 was made and the States also been empowered to prepare their own WC Rules.

"Partial Disablement" means, where the disablement is of a temporary nature, such disablement as reduces the earning capacity of a workman in any employment in which he was engaged at the time of the accident resulting in the disablement, and, where the disablement is of a permanent nature, such disablement as reduces his earning capacity in every employment which he was capable of undertaking at that time.

You can explain one by one with how to claim and what all the documents required for claiming the same from Insurance and what all the documents required to submit in Labour Office.
